LIVE PERFORMANCES

These live art presentations are designed to motivate and speak to the viewer by combining art and the collaborative experience. Each presentation was designed around a theme or a requested topic. After careful consideration, a performance is designed to engage the specific audience, and this process often involves their collaboration to create the finished work. At the end viewers are able to visualize how their input is a crucial part to the story. These multi sensory events result in a captivating and extraordinary experience people will remember.
It was a joy to present a live pottery sermon at Simpsonwood UMC.

This music video was collaboration with Wesleyan student Daniel Salyers who filmed and produced. This video was shown to students as a part 2 reveal of how their sins are washed by the sacrifice of Christ. It served as a culmination of our 2016 Fine Art Week.

Below is a short, single service devotion given to K-4 students at Wesleyan School.

Performance Art 2013
This video was the first recording of any of my artistic performance devotions. Audio was not captured at this event. During the sermon students were encouraged to write confessions on slips of paper and they were able to put them into the vessel that was immediately fired in a raku kiln. The video below is the reveal for students to see as part 2 of the sermon. The song parallels the story the experienced and serves as a reminder of the days prior.
